Utility Poles and High Tension Lines
WHEN YOU NEED TO DRILL THROUGH ROCK… THINK CENTER ROCK!
Utility LP Drills are designed to be used on digger derrick trucks or other standard mountings for drilling utility pole holes. The weight and air consumption help ensure applicability to the available mountings in the market. While significantly lighter than mono-hammer pole drills, they consume noticeably less air, resulting in enhanced penetration rates and are the perfect choice for utility pole hard rock sockets from 18”– 36” (457 mm – 914 mm).
We also offer our utility mono-hammer which is a single hammer outfitted with hammer shroud, shock sub, and side inlet swivel for drilling utility holes from 17.5”- 36” (445 mm – 914 mm).
HIGH TENSION LINES:
Our convertible LP Drill (conventional or reverse circulation) provides a cost effective solution for rock drilling requirements up to 144” (3658 mm) in diameter. Our drills have been used by some of the nation’s largest utility contractors to quickly drill holes to the exact size required.
